This website is operated by Top Plumbing Services Pte Ltd (“Top Plumbing”, “we”, “us”), a plumbing services company operating in Singapore. You can reach us on +65 9199 0308.

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us or use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

We only collect what we need in order to quote for and carry out plumbing work:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number and email address, when you submit an enquiry form, message us on WhatsApp, or call us.
  • Service address — the address where the work is to be carried out, so we can dispatch a plumber and give you an accurate arrival time.
  • Job details — a description of the problem, and any photographs you choose to send us.
  • Website usage data — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your NRIC number, bank account details, credit card numbers or passwords through this website or by message.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide you with a quotation
  • To schedule, carry out and invoice the plumbing work you have asked for
  • To contact you about a job in progress, or about warranty work on a job we have completed
  • To keep records required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes
  • To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We share it only where it is necessary to do the work: with the plumber assigned to your job, and with suppliers where a part needs ordering for your specific job. We may also disclose personal data where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Third-party services used to run this website, such as our web host and analytics providers, may process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records relating to completed jobs are kept for as long as required for warranty, accounting and legal purposes, and are then deleted or anonymised.

Cookies

This website uses cookies to keep the site working correctly and to measure how it is used. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

Your rights under the PDPA

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service you have asked for.
