1. About these terms

These terms apply to plumbing services provided by Top Plumbing Services Pte Ltd (“Top Plumbing”, “we”, “us”) in Singapore, and to your use of this website. By booking work with us, you agree to them.

2. Quotations and pricing

Any price given before we attend is an estimate based on the information you have provided. We give you a firm price on site, before any work begins.

If, after starting, we find the job is materially different from what was described or visible at the time of quoting, we will stop, explain what we have found, and give you a revised price. We will not carry out additional chargeable work without your agreement, and we will not add unagreed charges to your invoice after the fact.

Prices published on this website are starting prices. The final price depends on the work actually required.

3. Booking, access and cancellation

You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area at the agreed time, and for obtaining any permission needed from a landlord, management corporation or town council before work begins.

If our plumber attends at the agreed time and cannot gain access, a call-out charge may apply. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule.

4. Licensed work

Certain plumbing works in Singapore are regulated and must be carried out by a plumber licensed by PUB. These include water service works and sanitary works, such as installing or relocating toilet bowls and sanitary piping, and work on the drinking water supply system. Other simple works, such as replacing a tap or shower head or clearing a blockage, do not require a licensed plumber.

Where the work you have asked for is regulated, it will be carried out by or under the supervision of a PUB Licensed Plumber.

5. Workmanship warranty

We warrant our workmanship against defects for the period stated on your invoice. If work we have carried out fails within that period due to our workmanship, we will return and put it right at no charge.

The warranty does not cover: fair wear and tear; damage caused by misuse, accident, or work carried out by others after our visit; parts or appliances supplied by you; problems arising from the pre-existing condition of pipework or fittings we did not install; or recurrence of a blockage caused by continued disposal of unsuitable material.

Parts and appliances we supply carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturer warranties are administered by the manufacturer and their terms apply.

6. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed to you at the time of quotation.

7. Liability

We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. We are responsible for loss or damage directly caused by our negligence or breach of these terms.

We are not liable for pre-existing defects we did not cause, for damage arising from concealed conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before work began, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Where a leak or defect originates in a neighbouring property, responsibility for repair costs is a matter between the property owners concerned and, in HDB flats, may be subject to HDB’s own processes. Our role is to diagnose and report the cause accurately.

8. Emergencies

If you have a burst pipe or major leak, shut off your main stopcock before calling us. If water is near electrical fittings, switch off the power at your distribution board first. We cannot accept responsibility for damage occurring before we arrive.

9. Website content

Information on this website, including any guidance on common plumbing problems, is provided in good faith for general information. It is not a substitute for an on-site inspection, and we cannot be responsible for the outcome of work you carry out yourself based on it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
